July is the month of fireworks, cookouts and summertime fun, but it also means we’re more than halfway through the year!

Wait…what? Where exactly has the year gone?

By this point, it’s easy to look back on the past months and question whether or not you’ve made any kind of dent in the mountain of goals you once set out to accomplish.

We ask ourselves questions such as “What’s taking me so long to do this?” or “Why didn’t I do better than that?” without realizing the damage these thoughts are actually causing. We’ll never make long-lasting progress this way!

Instead, it’s about time we re-frame our perspective and begin tackling the right kind of problems. Instead of focusing on your shortcomings, focus on what REALLY needs the transformation!

Transform Your Body, Mind and Soul

In order to move forward and bring about any kind of change, you’ll need to give yourself a complete body, mind and soul makeover. Here are tips for driving progress and maintaining success:

  • Learn to Accept Yourself – Most people want to match what they look like on the outside to what they feel on the inside. Unfortunately, feeling confident about your body is an impossible feat when you’re busy scrutinizing it! Accepting who you are and embracing each and every inch of skin should be the first step in your journey. Then, when you come to peace with yourself and realize perfection isn’t real, you can finally start to make new goals for your body that will bring about HEALTHY change!   • Adjust Your Attitude – The glass will always be half-full or half-empty, but that’s your choice to make. Just like the law of attraction states, you get back what you put out! When you try your best to breed positive energy and make it a part of your daily routine, you’ll notice that positive things start to happen to you.This is how you transform your future! Keep a running list of the things you’re proud of, what makes you happy and what you’re hoping to accomplish in the future.
  • Find Your Self – esteem – Your soul is the very best thing about you, so you must take care of it! To accomplish the challenges and jump on the opportunities that come our way, we require self-confidence. However, self-confidence first demands self-esteem! To say “Yes, this is who I am and I accept it” and “Yes, I believe I can do this” are two very crucial statements to make before you moving forward. To unlock self-confidence and grow esteem, you must: stay authentic, be aware of your strengths and weaknesses, and find what works for you, and run with it! 

Be Patient with Yourself!

Of course, this kind of change won’t happen in one night. It takes time to build new habits and keep them up until they’ve become a part of you. Just remember, the BEST things come to those who wait…and work, and work and work! Drawing attention to your progress, rather than your setbacks, will ensure that you’re successful.
