Spring has officially sprung, and warmer weather calls for a celebration! Now is the perfect time to get outside, enjoy the sunshine and kick-start your weight management goals for this next season of life – literally and figuratively!

For some, the onset of Spring marks a time to start fresh and switch-up their routine. Healthy changes can bring both mental and physical clarity to our lives – and that includes weight management! With winter well behind you, there are even more opportunities to find the fun in fitness and add some spice to your workouts.

Maybe it’s a dip in the pool, a jog through the park or an invigorating afternoon hike. Whatever sounds exciting to you, take this time to express yourself and find joy in this new season – but don’t forget your daily dose of motivation! This spring, we’ve created yet another music playlist to help inspire you, motivate you and encourage you through exercise. Let’s get moving!

Inspire Others by Submitting Your Own Transforming Playlist!

Do YOU have any music that inspires you to stay active and increases your focus on your goals? We want you to share them so others can benefit!

To help motivate others with the same music that has inspired you, simply follow these steps:

  • First, build your own Spotify playlist with the songs you love and want to share. Try to include enough songs for about 45 minutes – one hour’s worth of listening. As a guideline, try to pick songs and albums that you believe will help uplift others during their workouts. Also, try to include music that is free of profanity and explicit language.
  • Next, share your Spotify music list by emailing the link to mstep@obesityaction.org. We may add your music to next month’s Your Weight Matters workout playlist!
  • If you don’t want to build and share an entire list, you may use the email listed above to submit individual songs.
